Can I add out-of-stock items to the cart, and will they be shipped automatically when available?

Yes, you can add out-of-stock items to the cart. If the delivery time exceeds one week, we will inform you after receiving the order. During checkout, you can choose whether you want a partial delivery.

Are extra shipping fees applied to backorders?

Shipping costs are charged for backorders with a value under €500. For orders under €40, we will ask if you want to increase the order value. These rules apply only to deliveries within Germany. Shipping costs apply per shipment and package for deliveries outside Germany.

From what order value is shipping free of charge?

We offer free shipping within Germany for orders with a net value of €500 or more.

What are your delivery times?

In line with our motto "order today, delivered tomorrow," we aim to keep enough stock of common products. However, due to high demand or supplier issues, delivery times may be longer. Please plan accordingly. All items that are not regularly in stock are labeled accordingly.

Can I buy from you as a private customer?

We are a wholesale business and only supply commercial customers. This includes online retailers, brick-and-mortar stores, tailoring shops, and companies in the textile industry.

How can I register as a business customer?

You can easily register as a new customer via our shop here. Alternatively, you can send us your business registration by email to info(at)steidl-becker.com. We will contact you promptly.

Can I place an order as a guest?

Since we only supply business customers, guest orders are not possible. Please register as a new customer and, if possible, upload your business registration.

Can I purchase individual products, or only entire packaging units (PU)?

In most cases, products can be purchased outside the packaging unit, except for fabrics, wadding, and linings sold by the meter, as well as specially marked items that are only available as special orders. This information is provided in the product description. We do not charge extra if you purchase less than a full packaging unit!

I have a question about a specific product. Whom can I contact?

Our sales team is available for any questions. You can reach us by phone, email, or fax. We will respond as quickly as possible.

What payment options do you offer?

Returning customers can order on account. Returning customers are those who have ordered more than three times. Alternatively, orders can be paid in advance via bank transfer, PayPal, or WISE. Customers outside Germany are generally supplied on a prepayment basis. We reserve the right to adjust payment terms at any time.

What should I do if I forget my password?

Please visit our login page and use the "Forgot password?" button to request an email with further instructions.

How long are items kept in my cart before I submit the order?

You can add items to your cart for as long as you like. The cart is only emptied once the order is placed.

What should I do in case of a complaint?

Please contact us as soon as possible after receiving your delivery by phone, email, or fax. Our contact details can be found here. We will get in touch with you promptly to resolve your issue.

Which shipping providers are available?

We ship parcel orders with DHL. For larger shipments, we may choose to ship via freight forwarders. We reserve the right to use other carriers at short notice.

Can my order be shipped to a DHL Packstation?

Yes, we can send your package to a Packstation. Please note that if the package is too large for the Packstation, it will be forwarded to the nearest post office.

Is express shipping offered?

No, we do not offer express shipping.

Can I track the status of my order?

You can view the status of your order in your customer account here. Once the order is processed, the status will change to "shipped" or "partially shipped."
