Lightweight, soft, needle-punched wadding tape with a high cotton content and a stabilising polypropylene scrim. Vlieseline Cotton Wadding Tape is suitable for making fabric cords, sewn rugs, placemats and a variety of textile craft projects.
The convenient roll format allows the wadding tape to be incorporated directly into fabric strips during sewing. The integrated scrim helps improve dimensional stability.

Applications

Instructions for Use

Sew 6.4 cm wide fabric strips together to create one continuous strip.

Fold both long edges towards the centre and position the Cotton Wadding Tape inside.

Topstitch close to the edge to form a fabric-covered cord.

Arrange the cords side by side and join them using a zigzag stitch to create a flat textile surface.
We recommend testing the product with the intended fabrics and application before processing.
